Vallas Campaign Welcomes Huge Crowds at Two Weekend Ward Tour Stops

Events at Irish Cultural Center and Jovial Club Each Draw Hundreds of Excited Vallas Supporters

Everywhere Paul Vallas goes lately, he packs the house. That was the case at two Ward Tour stops held this weekend, both of which saw hundreds of supporters come together to listen to the candidate detail his plans to make Chicago safer and more successful for all residents. The surging candidate was at the Irish Cultural Center on Saturday and the Jovial Club in the 10th Ward on Sunday evening, and more stops will be announced soon.

“Chicagoans are fired up and ready for the kind of change our city needs, and I’m so inspired to see many, many residents coming out to our Ward Tour events and the crowds continuing to build over time,” said Vallas. “There’s no better measure of enthusiasm for a campaign than seeing people taking time out of their busy lives to become active participants in our civic life. Our campaign will continue to reach out directly to the people and meet them where they are to spread our message of putting crime and public safety first.”

Vallas is coming off an eventful week that included endorsements from the Chicago Tribune as well as Aldermen Tom Tunney and Brian Hopkins, a strong debate performance that was noted by political observers, strong fundraising numbers and much more.
