Latino Elected Officials, Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and “Vamos con Vallas” Events Planned
The Vallas for Mayor campaign will announce major endorsements and a groundswell of support from all corners of Chicago’s Latino community Friday. Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Iris Martinez, Alderman Roberto Maldonado (26th) and the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will announce endorsements for Vallas at separate events, culminating with a “Vamos con Vallas” support rally Friday evening.
The following events are scheduled for Friday:
1 PM – Endorsement press conference with Alderman Roberto Maldonado and leadership from the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
WHERE: Vallas campaign headquarters, 328 S. Jefferson, 8th Floor
6 PM -- Endorsement press conference with Circuit Court Clerk Iris Martinez at a “Vamos con Vallas” support rally which will be attended by dozens of Vallas Latino supporters including young entrepreneurs and business and community leaders.
